The VSGA wants You!

The Virginia State Golf Association conducts a full slate of events for men, women and juniors at some of the state’s premier golfing venues. In 2009 there are 100 one-day events scheduled that are open to members of all ages and skill levels. Among other benefits, a VSGA membership provides access to these fun-filled outings.

Now, it is easier than ever to become a member and join the 80,000 golfers and VIP cardholders who support the organization at more than 300 member clubs scattered throughout the commonwealth.

VSGA members come in all shapes and sizes, ages and abilities ranging from young novices just learning the game to some of the finest amateur players in the country.

In addition to access to an array of well-run events, VSGA members:

-Can post scores online and generate a handicap index.
-Receive a bi-monthly subscription to Virginia Golfer magazine, VSGA Member Club Directory and the VSGA’s monthly eLetter.
-Have access to dynamic rules presentations and are eligible for special offers at member clubs including Independence Golf Club – "Virginia's Home for Golf."

Golfers have three options when joining the VSGA. They can:

1. Join an existing green grass golf club,
2. Form their own recreational golf club (minimum 10 members),
3. Click into one of 10 internet based Clubs (2009 VIP Card purchase required).
